(626) 555-4192 abc123@aol.com July 18th 2013 Louis Welch 6400 Irvine Boulevard Irvine, California 92620 (626) 123-6408 Dear Mr. Welch: On July 8th, I visited the L.A Fitness facility at 1628 N. El Centro Avenue. Everything was well until I finished taking a shower, where I then discovered that all of my possessions were taken from my locker. Now I understand that LA Fitness carries no liability for theft, so my real complaint lies within how my issue was handled by the staff. I made my way to the lobby with only a towel to cover me and spoke to the manager Pricilla H. When I asked to speak to security, she replied that there was no security. I then asked if she could find something from the lost and found for me to wear, and she said there was no lost and found. Finally, since one of the items stolen were my car keys, I asked if she could alert the parking attendant to not let my car out. There was no reply and she walked away. In no way am I trying to speak ill of your business, as it is my fault for assuming my possessions would not be stolen. I appreciate your facility, and within my twenty-one years of membership I have rarely faced a negative experience. Unfortunately, I will be cancelling my membership. While I do not know how often events like mine occur, I do hope that security measures are established in order to prevent this from happening again. Training staff to be prepared for theft, along with public accommodation would also be greatly appreciated, and would make me consider renewing my membership. I hope you receive this letter and I am looking forward to a response. Sincerely,
