To Whom It May Concern:
It is my pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Chelsey Earnhart. Chelsey was a student in my second semester course Nursing Care of the Childbearing Family at The University of Arizona College ofNursing. Chelsey was an outstanding student in this course. She has a strong work ethic and is self-directed. She is professional, and has strong communication and interpersonal skills. She has a very positive attitude, and is an engaged, motivated learner. Additionally, I am on Chelsey's honors thesis committee. For this project Chelsey focused on developing an evidence based best practice protocol for providing support to parents of children with developmental disability. Her project was very well written and creative. Chelsey's excellent academic achievement is reflected by the fact that she has been consistently on the Dean's List while at the University of Arizona, and she will graduate with Honors. She also received the University of Arizona Wildcat Excellence Award, and was nominated to Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Chelsey has been the recipient of the Daughters of the American Revolution Scholarship. Chelsey works as an Adaptive Water Safety Instructor, and is a Special Olympics Swim Coach. She is skilled at communicating effectively with adults and children with cognitive, physical and developmental disabilities. Chelsey is a serious student committed to the nursing profession. I recommend Chelsey for your position and feel like she has much to offer your organization. Please contact me at 520-626-6756 or mgoldsmi@email.arizona.edu if you have questions regarding Ms. Earnhart. Sincerely,
Melissa Goldsmith, PhD, RNC
