In addition, they must be able to improve on that skill. My ability to write and improve my writing came mostly from typical toddler books. Specifically Green Eggs and = Ham by “Dr. Seuss” and “CamJanson” and the Stolen Popcorn Machine”. In addition, there was ei a school event that I did find embarrassing, which made me realize how necessary it wasto improve my writing, Finally, the people who influenced me, such as my mother and father, did not have much impact in my writing behavior. My ability to write and improve during my childhood came from two iconic books. | used the popular book, “Green Eggs and Ham from Doctor Seuss as tol for leaming how to write | Teamed how to write from “Green Eggs and Ham” thanks to how the book was structured. The sentence structure allowed me to understand how sentences were formed. Adler was not only used to improve my writing skills, but it also contained a great deal of humor that I would of found funny at the time. Tecause green is my favorite color silly!” Based on thesez= two novels, I was able to get through most of pre-school and most of elementary school with \was not until my fifth grade year that I realized that I had to shape up. \ st During my fifth grade year, my school had an essay contest, which required students to os) 4}, Wiitea five-parapraph essay about Bully Prevention, At the time, I was not a very good writing. | case. However, vividly recall writing the words, “Bullies are stupid, so don’t be one” and when I read it in front of the crowd, they “kindly” remarked that the sentence I just said was a phrase that a bully would say. The crowd did end up laughing and I embarrassed myself at the remark. It was this moment of my life that I realized that I needed to inaprove my writing. As a result, I began reading more complex novels such as the Perce Jackson series from Rick Riordan and the Warriors series by Kate Cary. Fortunately, my hard work did pay of and I was able to improve my writing skills. And while I did have plenty of support from my parents at the time, I didn’t have much influence as a toddler. \ Jam an only child, which means that I did not have many interesting people around me. As a result, I lacked the creativity skills and 1 found it difficult to make up topics. Most of my topics came from either my one friend or my gaming console. Fortunately, after reading books such as the Perce Jackson series and the Warriors series, I began to think of more interesting SAT and ACT, I was experienced enough in about. By the time I was taking the topics to wr avery good essay which received an SAT essay score of five out of ¢ thinking to crpe oy ee As I said before, my ability to write came from a multitude of experiences and books. As a result, my writing skills surpassed some of my classmates and my creativity skills grew exponentially. I am still improving my writing skills in college by reading more complex novels and desire to improve my creative skills by joining more organizations at UNCC A!
