Since Tyler withdrew from the university I will be taking over the decade of the sixties,
meaning I will be talking about Woodstock. Woodstock is recorded as the most attended concert
to have ever happened in the category of music. The main focus of Woodstock was based around
rock and roll music with performers such as Richie Havens, The Who and Jimi Hendrix. People
came from around the world to connect with others, listen to the top rock music of the time and
even do drugs. The concert left New York companied with naked hippies and left with
mountains of trash afterwards.

Recently we have decided to take out the individual research on bands and instead are
going to list the major songs and artists according to their generation. With this may come audio
or even video clippings from sources such as YouTube, or other sources to keep the interest with
the audience during the presentation. The picture above is a screen clipping of Bon Jovi and their
song Livin on a Prayer from a YouTube video. This song was the top song of the eighties for
rock and roll music.

Since we are talking about rock and roll music there will most likely be some discussion
on the different types of instruments. The most important of these would most likely have to be
the guitar because it differentiated how rock and roll sounded form other genres and still does

today. There will also be other designs of guitars showing the change in appearance of these
instruments through the generations.
