Dear student and parent,


Welcome to Physical Education, Im excited about the opportunity to get to know you and Im
looking forward to a happy and productive school year.
Curriculum areas we will focus on this year:
*Team Sports

*Fitness Activities

*Diet/Nutrition

In order to participate in class students must have the following: shirts, shorts, and running shoes.
Homework policy: Homework will be assigned on occasion. Late work will not be accepted. If
absent, an assignment will be given to the student to make up the points for the day(s) missed.
However many days missed from school will be the amount of time a student will have to make
up his or her assignment. If injury were to occur, the student will have to do an assignment
during the duration of there inactivity. The amount of days missed do to injury will be the same
amount of days until the assignment must be turned in.

Please mark these dates on your calendar. Studies show that parental involvement in a childs
education is one of the strongest indicators of student achievement. We hope you ill make it a
priority this year to attend as many school-sponsored events as possible.
