Each student takes a topic and researches it extensively. Share your
finding with your team members so they can input your findings
into their booklet

You need to carry out EXTENSIVE research on your topic and guest.
You need to demonstrate why you have used your guest for this
topic. You need to reference where you found your research.

Conflict between bands

Key Facts:
There are many ongoing feuds
in the music industry, one of the
most famous ones being Blur
and Oasis back in the nighties,
however there has been a
decrease in feud within the
industry, however it does still
occur at times. One of them
being between Grammy award
winner Jack white, one of his
most popular songs being seven
nation army and the Black Keys,
Patrick Carney.
Jack White has responded to
Black Keys drummer Patrick
Carney's allegations that White
tried to start a fight with him
after running into each other at a New York City bar. Carney accused
Jack white of bulling in a string of tweets, however White denied
this. The incident apparently occurred at New Yorks cabin down
below, a frequent hangout of Patrick carneys
White tweeted, Nobody tried to fight you, Patrick. Nobody touched
you or 'bullied' you, "You were asked a question you couldn't
answer, so you walked away. So quit whining to the Internet and
speak face to face like a human being. End of story." A rep for White
could not confirm to Rolling Stone the "question" White asked
Carney.
The bad blood between
White and the Black Keys
dates back to August two
thousand and thirteen
leaked emails from White's
divorce proceedings with
ex-wife Karen Elson, with
White saying that the Turn
Blue duo "ripped off" his
music.
Another major conflict in the
industry was between the
two artists Michael Jackson and Pulps lead singer Jarvis Cocker. It
happened at the Brit awards ninety ninety six, Jackson's
performance that evening has been described as weird and over the
top. Dressed in a Christ-like white robe surrounded by worshiping
children and clergy, Jackson's stage persona could be described as

eccentric at best, and delusional at worst. Cocker, allegedly on a

dare, and later admitting he was probably a little too drunk for
sensible decision making,
decided to rush the stage
with a friend in order to
derail Jackson's
performance.
One of the most popular
and to this day still
remberable is Oasis and
Blur feud, both much
loved bands, at the
height of nineties Britpop,
the rivalry kicked off
mostly when Blur decided
to release there single on
the same day as Oasis.
Unlike Blur, Oasis were
able to achieve sustained
sales in the United States
thanks to the singles
"Wonderwall" and
"Champagne Supernova"
