SUBJECT: Intercultural Communication workshop

I would like to conduct an intercultural workshop at the Gadsden center. In our workshop we will
give reasons for learning intercultural communication. It will show how intercultural
communication helps us in a business society and learn about cultural awareness. This workshop
is focused on learning other cultures dos and donts. It will teach how to communicate with
others through language and teach how to get a dialectal approach. This will help others work in
a diverse environment whether it is opening a business or working for a company that has the
need of sending people around the globe.
Additional Personnel
The personnel running this workshop will be: Nestor L Cordova and volunteers (veterans) that
will explain their personal cultural experiences in other countries. There will be two important
companies supporting this workshop and explaining why is intercultural communication
important for their company.
Time Estimates
The workshop will start in October 16, 2015. The event will take place at room 113 at the
Gadsden Center.
