Apple Customer Service,
I recently purchased an iPhone 6 with iOS 8 installed. The performance of the
phone was miraculous and I was a happy customer of Apple, as I have been for the past 5
years. Id recently seen an advertisement for the new feature of iOS 8 called Wave. I
tested out the feature and my phone proceeded to cease functioning. The entire system
was fried and now there are shards of glass embedded in my microwave.
Just as the advertisement had instructed, I placed my phone into my 800w
microwave and microwaved it for 70 seconds. Rather than charging the battery, the
process instead caused my phone to melt into the microwave and the screen burst,
embedding glass into my microwave and, in turn, breaking it. So, not only do I not have a
phone, I also now do not have a functioning microwave and have been forced to eat all
leftovers cold.
I would like to request a replacement phone be sent to me, since the warranty for
my iPhone is still considered valid. If a replacement cannot be sent, Id appreciate a
refund of my purchase. I would not want to pursue legal actions, but I feel that it would
be appropriate should my requests not be met.
