Dear Dr. Crutchley:
Upon obtaining my Bachelors of Science in Business Administration at
Missouri Baptist University in April 2016, I am seeking a full-time position as
an elementary teacher in the Fox C-6 School District as well as any
cheerleading or soccer coaching positions within the district. As a high school
graduate from Fox Senior High in 2011, I have acknowledged the districts
pride in academic success. Furthermore, as an A+ Scholar, a 3.8 GPA alumni
student, and the Gold and Silver Presidential Education Awards Programs
myself, I understand that education is very important accomplishment and
children should grasp this opportunity and look towards the future with it. I
am ready to bring fresh ideas to the district as well as build upon the
academic excellence of this wonderful district.
I believe classroom management is the key to running a positive classroom
environment, along with constructivist lesson plans involving real world
connections and the use of various teaching methods. I have also
collaborated with many teachers within the Fox School District in excellent
programs like English Language Learners and Junior Achievement. I am
determined to create a student-centered classroom containing independent
lifelong learners who are goal oriented to reach their maximum potentials.
Furthermore, I have done the majority of my field experiences within the Fox
C-6 district yielding many wonderful letters of recommendation that I have
included in my enclosure for consideration.
While successfully completing my field experiences, I have obtained
leadership and language skills outside of the classroom environment. For
example, I have been committed to a Croatian folklore group for fifteen
years, performing worldwide as well as spending five of those years as an
instructor in various areas. My commitment to this group has established my
community involvement, while my childrens performances have
demonstrated my teaching methods to be a success. Furthermore, I am
bilingual in Croatian/Bosnian language as well as Spanish, which has been

beneficial to the students I have tutored and worked with hand in hand in
multicultural classrooms.
