Important: External fraudsters posing as Nomura contacts

It has recently been brought to our attention that external fraudsters are using the Nomura name in an attempt to obtain personal information. These persons have
contacted members of the public via phone calls, documentation (stock transfer forms or non-disclosure agreements), and Nomura branded emails. Should you
receive a suspicious email or phone call claiming to be someone from Nomura, please contact our Fraud Risk Officer.
Please use the following guidelines to identify a potentially fraudulent contact:

Nomura does not engage in cold calling. If you have been approached by someone claiming to be a Nomura person that you do not already have a
relationship with, take their details and verify with our Fraud Risk Officer.

Fraudsters try to tempt victims with offers of high returns with little downside.

Fraudsters will often try to convince their victims that they need to move quickly or they will miss out on a great opportunity.

Always seek to verify whether an approach is genuine by contacting us on the number listed on our website. Never use the contact details provided by the
initial contact.
