UIL A+ Academics

Dear Parent/Guardian,
Our school will be participating in The University Interscholastic League (UIL) A+ Academics
for the first time ever this year. UIL was created by The University of Texas at Austin to provide
extracurricular academics to help students further develop their abilities and build teamwork skills
in a healthy, competitive manner. Your child has been selected to participate in UIL. This
competition is a great way to encourage your student to show off their talents and get a jump on
participating in extracurricular activities.

The academic meet will be held at Reed Academy on May 2, 2015.

Event Schedule
Transportation will NOT
be provided.
Students must be dropped
off 30 minutes before the
students assigned event
and picked up at the end of
their scheduled event. Each
event last approximately
one hour.
Snacks will be sold at the
event.

Nuestra escuela estar participando por primera vez este ao en la Liga Interescolar
Universitaria (UIL) Acadmicos A +. UIL fue creado por la Universidad de Texas en Austin
para proporcionar acadmicos extracurriculares para ayudar a los estudiantes a desarrollar an
ms sus habilidades y desarrollar habilidades de trabajo en equipo de una manera sana y
competitiva. Su hijo/a ha sido seleccionado para participar en UIL. Este concurso es una gran
manera de animar a su estudiante para mostrar sus talentos y estar un paso ms adelante en la
participacin de actividades extracurriculares.
El encuentro acadmico se llevar a cabo en la escuela Reed Academy el 2 de mayo del 2015.
