So What Is This MoonBots Contest All About?

WIN a LEGO MINDSTORMS Robot and Even a Trip to Hawaii

FREE to Enter! No travel necessary! Competition is open to kids all over the
world! Win cool PRIZES like a LEGO MINDSTORMS Robot!
Step 1: Go online and register your team. Teams can have 2-5 members of 9-17 years old.
Each team must have one team captain of 18 years and older.
Step 2: Answer two questions:

Describe what the ultimate lunar landscape would look like if you had a chance
to build it. Would it be made out of LEGO bricks, real materials like rocks and
sand or would you create a digital platform?

If you were given a FREE LEGO MINDSTORMS robot and all the materials to
build your ultimate lunar landscape, where would you show it off? At your
school? At the mall? Or maybe at a fair?

Step 3: Make a 4 minute video about your interest in the Google Lunar X PRIZE or Heritage
Artifacts left on the Moon.

30 Teams from all over the world will be selected! Free to compete! No travel

Step 1: Design a Google Lunar X PRIZE LEGO MINDSTORMS game for your robot to rove your
lunar landscape.
Step 2: Build your lunar landscape. Gift card will be given to purchase materials.
Step 3: Build and program your LEGO MINDSTORMS robot. Robot is provided.

September 15-November 15, 2012

Step 1: Pick a location to demonstrate your Google Lunar X PRIZE LEGO MINDSTORMS game.
Step 2: Complete a live broadcast for the world to see your robot, your lunar landscape and
the game.
