Staff Sergeant Amy L. Aragon-Pollock distinguished herself by outstanding achievement as
Optometry Craftsman, 943d Aerospace Medicine Squadron, 943d Rescue Group, Davis-Monthan Air
Force Base, Arizona. Sergeant Aragon-Pollack provided exceptional customer service for the
Aircrew Soft Contact Lens Program, educating aircrew on proper lens insertion, removal, and
disinfecting techniques, culminating in a zero percent complication rate overall. In addition,
Sergeant Aragon-Pollock adroitly mastered the required training for Squadron Noncommissioned
Safety Officer, utilizing real-world scenarios for greater relevancy and personal impact. Furthermore,
she meticulously reorganized the safety program, actualizing a more efficient policy manual in-line
with Group and Air Force benchmarks. The distinctive accomplishments of Sergeant
Aragon-Pollock reflect credit upon herself and the United States Air Force.
