Grass Identification

Workshop
This workshop aims to develop participants skills, knowledge and understanding
of how to identify grasses species found across Queensland.

This comprehensive workshop is presented by Dr Sheldon Navie, and includes


recognition of common and important grasses in the SEQ region.
During the workshop participants will gain an understanding of grass structure,
as well as practical infield identification skills.

This workshop is divided into three parts, as follows;


Part 1: Basic Gras Structure

Flowers
Seed-heads

And other grass characters important for identification


Part 2: Recognition of Common SEQ Grasses
