2012

Volunteer at International Moose Lodge 1876; Phenix City, AL

I volunteered with the G.R.E.A.T program provided by my school, after the burning of the Moose
Lodge. I assisted in the clean up and refurbishing of the furniture. Cleaning, removing, and
painting of all salvageable furniture. I also assisted with the landscaping by planting flowers and
cleaning the grounds. While assisting in the cleanup we helped spread the word about Moose
Heart (orphanage) and Moose Haven (nursing home) and how the Moose Lodge raises money to
support these organizations, so I made a binder to display all the information about the work I
was doing to help and all the supplies donated to me by members of the Moose Lodge in order to
restore the organizations building and help the people understand what the moose lodge is really
about.
