Mad Libs
Free
Mad Libs is an App found in the App Store. It is a great App for
elementary grade students. The App is similar to the books that are
still sold at the dollar store. The App is a creative writing outlet for
students. It also helps students learn or reinforce nouns, pronouns,
plural nouns, adjective, adverbs, and other parts of speech. It is a
great creative writing tool to use as a class as well as to have at a
station if the students are older. The App has 20 free stories to start
o with as well achievements that the students can earn while
creating their silly masterpieces.
A review done by iPad Kids on May 14th 2013, found the App to
be "not only fun but it also helps keep reading skills sharp..." The
review also goes on to express nostalgia for the Mad Libs used as a
child. Our group agrees with this review especially in regards to the
nostalgic feelings involve in use of the App.
