College Reading Reflection
Reading books is an indispensable prat in a persons life, we need to
update our information and thoughts by keep reading books. At present, as a
college student, reading becomes more important because I need to
accumulate more knowledges for using them in the future. In the first
semester, I have read a great book named Spare Parts by Joshua Davis which
is recommended by College 1 class. This book has affect my opinion about
college and what I should do in college.

book,

which

narrates

four

undocumented Mexican high school students strive in the united stated, and
finally win the champion in a national college level robotic competition. The
characters in this book have distinct personality that influenced me thought
about this book. Lorenzo definitely is the vital member in the robotic team,
he can always come up with much wonderful ideas and saving his
teammates in dilemma. Like Lorenzo can always use another degrees to
think. This method of thought also works in college, always think differently

can get original results, and all the questions dont always have only one
answers. In addition, Lorenzo is optimistic person. When he was being
laughed at his appearance or his accent he can distract his attention to the
interested things, and that makes him not be puzzled by unessential
troubles.
In this semester I also have read books for English class and outside of
the classes. So reading books becomes a habit after entering college. The
time of reading is not very organized, I usually read books when I am in
school after doing all the homework. I also read books before I go to sleep.
And reading books instead of playing video games and makes my lifestyle in
order. Writing the RRJs is also a smart habit too. It can makes me review the
chapters or sections I have read and think about what information the author
is trying to tell readers. It can also let me know what the important points are
I need to focus for next time reading. Therefore writing RRJs makes me feel I
am inside of reading and it can make the reading become more efficient and
more meaningful. And I should keep doing RRJs when I read books.
