To whom it may concern,
My name is Megan Deschenes and I am writing in response to the new
graduate registered nurse positions open at Tucson Medical Center. I
will be graduating with my Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) from
the University of Arizona College of Nursing on December 17, 2015.
Through my clinical rotations, I have had the opportunity to work and
learn in several nursing areas and was able to complete a five-week
preceptorship rotation in the neonatal intensive care unit at Tucson
Medical Center. These experiences along with my total of 732 clinical
hours have helped me develop excellent and organized bedside and
critical thinking skills.
I have participated in several interdisciplinary workshops where I have
further developed and strengthened my leadership skills. As a prior
team captain for several sports teams I know and understand what it
takes lead a team. I believe that my skills, and current evidence based
practice knowledge along with my passion and commitment for
advocating for others would make me a great addition to a team.
I am eager to work in pediatrics and in particular the neonatal
intensive care unit where I can provide compassionate care to infants,
children and their families. I am committed to advocating and
providing individualized patient center care while continually growing
in skills and knowledge as a bedside nurse.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Megan Deschenes
