Subject: Semi Formal Report Topic

The problem or issue I want to look into is if concussions cause

former football players to commit suicide or to kill other people in their life.
I chose this topic because I played football in high school and saw firsthand
how a concussion effects a person and what they must go through to get
cleared and play again.
The main issue I want to look into is if getting a concussion leads
to a football player killing someone later or committing suicide. You think
that ones that get a lot of concussions often kill others and or commit suicide
because those are mainly the stories that are put out for the public to hear. I
plan on researching into my topic and seeing if those football players that
have committed suicide had a history of head trauma. There are many
different stories that can be looked into.
In my research I hope to find that head trauma from concussions is
not a cause of suicide. The NFL has looked back and decided that for the
most part it does not affect the players.
