Description
(The subject or focus of the project)

My sculpture will be 4 inches tall and 6 inches wide. I am making a

pyramid with a cross on the top to resemble that God is above
everything else in my life. I added texture to my pyramid by
drawing lines down the front and the back of the sculpture to make
the pattern of bricks on the surface. Also I will be putting emphasis
on shape, all of my other shapes will be squares but the top will be
a cross. I will use the jacks floating blue glaze.
My sculpture will be about 11 inches at its tallest point and around
9 inches wide. I am making a basketball jersey which shows the
importance of basketball in my life, the jersey will be black, green,
and gold. The balance that the woven numbers and jersey creates
gives the artwork space because of the area that the numbers
occupy in the center. In the middle of the jersey I will put my
basketball number, 22, in the weaving. I want to use symmetrical
balance. The colors of the number will be green and gold
representing the school I play basketball for.
This sculpture will be round with a length of 6 inches. I want this
sculpture to have one circle a basketball with a diameter of 3
inches, it will be connected to a volleyball with a diameter of 3
inches. I chose these sports those are the two sports I play and
they both are very important parts of my life. This sculpture will
have asymmetrical balance because I used a different number of
lines on the basketball then I did on the volleyball, so although they
are the same size, one has more information than the other.
