EVALUATING FORMS

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this paper is to discuss the idea of aesthetic relevance and appeal of simpler but
effective forms and also to posit the sculptural quality of simple elements of design. A linkage
between the various forms will be proposed, and several scholarly views on this subject will be
presented through the study of existing examples of simpler built forms. And finally, this study will
try to propose/ promote the relevance of forms of dwelling spaces and also evaluate what can be
learnt from them.
Then, this paper will describe a live case study of a slum and will try to deduce some patterns
and aspects of learning from simpler built forms and habitats. the research tries to comment on
how the impatient capital leads to elimination of tradition from modernism in a blind want of
globalization which in turn governs the architectural form as a medium of globalized image.
