Put grades for students who did well, and write
notes for those who did not do well.
Prepare for lessons (sometimes she does not finish,
so her work will be taken home to be completed in
that case).
Sometimes she meet parents to discuss how well is
their child doing.
Meet colleagues that teach the same subject to
discuss about it. For example: lessons, exams,
grades.
Sometime observe students in the canteen.

Prayer brake.
Marking exams, marking book, putting grades for
students in the list, and checking home works,
though sometimes she completes it at home if
there is not enough time.

When I asked the teacher about her roles and responsibilities to fill the
checklist I found out that it was really short, so I had to add more roles and
responsibilities than what was there. I noticed that teachers have a lot of
things to do in one day.

I tried to get involved with students activities in the classroom, so I offered


my help to the MST. She accepted my offer by giving me a little game as a
worm up before the lesson. At the beginning of the class I said hi, introduced
myself and the reason of me being there, and then asked them to tell me the
date and day. At last I started explaining the game and playing with them.
The goal of the game was to practice speaking. I had to choose a letter and
then ask a personal question to a student where she had to give me an
answer of one word starts with the letter that Ive chosen. It was fun and only
took about 5 minutes. That was the first direct interaction with grade 6
students.
