Unna is the Culinary Arts Instructor at Sandia High-school, during my senior year (2012)
I was an advanced student in one of her classes and was in the extra-curricular team
that competes in the State ProStart Invitational; during this year our team won the
state competition and made it to the National ProStart Invitational, where we placed
in the top 20 teams in the country
The following year (2013) I aided in the training of the team as a mentor, teaching the
new members how to work cohesively in an enclosed space, with a very limited time,
and limited tools at their disposal. Unfortunately the team only placed second in the
State ProStart Invitational.
