The Monument - Represent the 13 martyrs of Cavite.

The 13 Martys are executed on


September 11, 1896 because of their cooperation with the KKK. During the Philippines
Revolution. Trece Martirez City got its name thru the 13 Cavite Martys.
The (Zapote) Bridge - Where a hot decisive battle occured during the revolution.
Building Facade - The facade of the Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo's House in Kawit, Cavite
where the First Philippine Republic and Independence was proclaimed on June 12,
1898.
Musical Notes - represents the Philipine National Anthem (Lupang Hinirang) first
played in Kawit, Cavite from a composition by a well known Caviteo, Don Julian
Felipe.
Philippine Flag - the original flag used by General Aguinaldo in Kawit during the
independence proclamation in 1898.
The Island - the historic island of Corregidor, symbol of Filipino-American heroism in
World War II.
Sun The National Flag - The eight rays represents the eight provinces of which Cavite
is one of those who revolted against the Spanish gpvernment in the Philippines.
Stars -This twenty stars represents the twenty municipalities in the Province of Cavite.
3 Stars - Represents the three cities of Cavite - Cavite City, Tagaytay City and Trece
Martires City.
The Fisherman and Farmer - Represent the main source of income in Cavite.
The Scroll - its text "DANGAL AT PAG-IBIG SA BAYAN" is the main battle cry of
Cavitenios until now.
