Wednesday,September23,2015,wasthefirstandonlydateofteachingforSheldon
Simasofweekonewithsystematicobservations.Sheldonisteachingtwentystudents,allina
3rdclass.Thisweekbegantheintroductoryphasetoultimatefrisbee,withthelessonfortheday
focusonbasicthrowingskillsofthefrisbee(withthisbeingthefirstlessonofthesemester,there
arenopreviouslearntskillstoreferto).Equipmentthatwasutilizedwasthegrassfield,aswell
astwentycones,andtenfrisbees..Conesweresetupintenrowsoftwo,sothatwaystudents
areinpairswhenpracticingthrowingthefrisbeebackandforthtooneanother.Safety
considerationsconsistedoftheconesbeingspreadoutthiswaystudentswillnotbeproneto
hittingoneanother.

termsthathecouldusetoaddresstheclass.Youguyscanbeoffensivesomeindividualsinthe
classroom,especiallythosewhoarenotguys.AlternativesthathecanusecouldbeClass,
Everyone,orBoysandGirls.Thisway,thereisnotaparticulargroupthatfeelsleftout
whentheyarebeingaddressed.
