Time, Date, and Location of the Debate The debate will be on Sept. 5, 2016, at 8 p.m. and will be located in Spurlock Center at Franklin College. When to Apply The republican and democrat debate application will be open Aug. 1, 2016, and will close on Aug. 26, 2016. Late applications will not be considered.
