Enafor Rig 08

PRIDE, OWNERSHIP AND EXCELLENCE

Tg-360
12-1/4in Hole Section Leak-Off Test at 13-3/8in Casing Shoe
Revision No. 1
Operational Objectives:
No accidents, no harm to people and no damage to the environment
Obtain Leak-Off Test data at 13-3/8in casing shoe
Operational Hazards:
Formation fracture
Manual handling rigging up Dowell lines
High pressure
Mud losses
Well Status:
3m of new formation has been drilled
Bottom is at 740m.
13-3/8in casing shoe at 733m MD TVD
Mud weight in hole 1.15sg
Casing has been tested to 2000psi (bumped plug)
Important Notes:
Have LCM materials close to mixing hopper and ready to mix
Have 30bbls LCM pill mixed and ready to pump.
Ensure chemicals are available for thixotropic cement plug
Have radios at Dowell unit and on rig floor
Operations
Circulate at least 1 X BU
o Ensure Mud Weight in = Mud Weight out
o Take SCRs
Pull bit into casing
o Space out for annular preventer
Install Circulating swage, lo torque valve and chiksans.
Line up cement unit to annulus via choke line and to drill string

Flush through cement lines with 5bbls WBM.

o Cementer to record hydrostatic pressure on his gauge after flushing lines
o Sperry Sun to record depth of PWD tool (MD and TVD)
o Break circulation down drill pipe and choke
o Pressure test lines to 200/2000 psi for 5/10 mins
o When bleeding off do not drain lines
o Zero pressure gauges on cement unit to account for hydrostatic between rig
floor and cement unit
o Close annular preventer
Perform LOT pumping at 0.25 bbls/min continuously
o Expected volume versus pressure:
500psi 0.5bbls. 750psi 0.7bbls. 1000psi 0.9bbls. 1250psi 1.2bbls. 1500psi 1.4bbls. 1750psi
1.6bbls.

o Monitor flowline to ensure no returns during LOT

o Do not exceed 2000 psi (Casing Pressure Test)
o Shut down pumps when pressure breakover occurs.
o Record (graph) pressures every 0.25 bbls pumped
o Record total volume pumped
o Record initial shut in pressure and continue monitoring pressure for 10 minutes,
and until pressure is relatively stable for 2 mins
o Bleed back mud on drill pipe and annular sides (there is a float in the string).
o Record volume returned
Open BOP, close the choke line
o Do not move drill pipe until PWD data has been pumped up to surface.
o Line up to rig pumps and pump up MWD PWD data at 700gpm
Once data received, line cement unit up to wellbore and pump WBM into well
to empty displacement tanks.
Continue to drill ahead as per programme.
