    Thanksgiving and its history.
    Materials: https://jr.brainpop.com/socialstudies/holidays/thanksgiving/zoom.weml, Squanto
    activity sheet.
    Procedure

    Introduction: Review what we have learned.

    Teach and Model: Watch BrainPop video. Read Squanto info.

    Guided Practice: Underline ways Squanto helped the Pilgrims. Answer questions 1. and 2.

    Independent Practice: Students will do back of activity sheet.

    Assessment: Students will be assessed through participation, observation, and ability to


    complete activities.
