Progress Report for TDK Life on Record Trek 360

Purpose:
Our teams goal is to provide replacement guides for the TDK Life on Record
Trek 360 wireless speaker in order to help others repair their device.

Summary of Progress

Our team has identified several common user-experienced problems:

No power
No Sound
Distorted sound
Sound only from one speaker
Poor bluetooth signal
Our team has finished the troubleshooting page for our device. Our team will
begin taking photos for all of our guides on Saturday, October 24, 2015. We will
have at least one completed guide by October 29, 2015.

Problems encountered:
When conducting our research into the TDK Life on Record Trek 360, it was
discovered that information was sparse for our device. For example, there was no
information on how to replace the battery or motherboard for our device. If the
device proves to become too difficult to work with then we will contact the
manufacturer in order to gain possible information on the device that can aid us in
furthering our project.

Conclusion
We have successfully completed the ifixit proposal charter for the group, project
proposal, troubleshooting page, and device page for our device. We are on
schedule to begin creating replacement guides for our device, and completing the
project on time. We are currently preparing to begin a teardown of the device in
order to locate the components that we shall write repair guides for.
