The Battle Creek Enquirers Remember-A-Vet campaign
began in 1953 to help veterans at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Battle Creek. Remember-A-Vet was the idea of the late Art Middleton, a journalist for the former Enquirer and News. The campaign continues this year with a goal of $37,500. Donations go to the VA Medical Center and are used to buy coupon books and for other needs of veterans all year. Veterans use the coupons at the centers retail store and cafeteria. Yes, I want to Remember a Vet. Enclosed is my $_________ donation.
