To me this competency means in order to be a successful teacher you must know
and follow all rules and legal requirements for teachers. This competency informs educators to stay knowledgeable with the Rules regarding special ed, students family rights, student discipline, equity, child abuse. Its also important to know the rules for copyright, fair use, data security, privacy acceptable use policies. To me this competency also warns teacher to keep student records confidential. It also talks about keeping a professional relationship with the students.
