ALTERNATIVE KEYBOARD
Key Guard
They are placed over the keyboard to prevent
students from inadvertently pressing keys and
provides a guide so the students strikes only one
key at a time.
MOUSE ALTERNATIVE
Small trackballs
Can be used for students with motor disabilities because
they can be controlled with a thumb or one finger. They
can be attached to a table, mounted to a wheelchair, or
held in the students hand.
SMART BOARDS
Smart Board
an interactive whiteboard that uses touch
detection for user input in the same way as normal
computer.
ASSISTIVE READING
Kurzweil 3000
Used to support those with Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, English
Language Learners in school, higher education, at home
and in the workplace. It can read aloud web-based, digital
or scanned print material, convert web-based, digital or
scanned print materials.

LIMITED VISION
Braille N Speak
The Braille N Speak is a small hand-held device with six large, flat keys
that type in all the combinations of dots that create the Braille
language. What the student types can be printed.
FACEMOUSE
Students with limited mobility can use the FaceMouse, which is a
webcam turned into a mouse operator. This technology allows
students to use their eyes and head to click on things, type on the
keyboard, and point the cursor.
