Summertime Farm and Ranch Laborer
Becker Farms, Lindsborg, KS
- For two consecutive summers I served as a farm and ranch hand on my fathers
farm.
- With 1800 acres of farmland and 2500 acres of ranch-land I had a different task
assigned to me each day. Handling different tasks allowed me to learn a variety of
skills with farm equipment, but battling long hours and extreme heat built up my work
ethic. Communication was key while working on Becker Farms, it allowed us to
accomplish everything we needed to do each summer.
