Awards:
LNYC Crew of the Year: This is awarded to the crew that has performed the
the best throughout the summer series of races.

SAYRA Crew Champ: This award is given to the individual that has the
best finish at a saltwater and freshwater race in a series. The SAYRA
district include North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia.

Doughton Award: This is awarded to the sailor, both skipper and crew,
who finished their best in the LNYC 4th of July Regatta and the LNYC
Labor Day Regatta.

Jefferson Cup (Admiral): This is the highest level Jefferson Cup you can
receive based on a point system. You must receive 100 points or more
in order to receive the Admiral title. Certain sailing activities are given
a point amount and are added up throughout the year.

Caduceus Club

This is a club that was created for students that are interested in a medical
career and are planning to pursue a job in medicine. The club volunteers
in medical clinics and helps the healthcare community.
Spirit Club

The purpose of this club is to help set up and organize any activity that
involves the student body. We are in charge of scheduling and organizing
pep rallies, determining themes for games, and helping to plan any activity
that involves the majority of the upper school.

Classroom: In the mornings, I volunteer at least twice a week in my
brothers class. I help with Daily 3, which is a rotation of different
english lessons that include anything from story plot to figuring out
word sounds.

raise money for various organizations.
