It gives me great pleasure to write a letter of recommendation for Ms. Jena Davis. I have
worked with Jena for 2 years at New Hope Solebury School district. Jena and I work together
closely to provide educational support to a unique group of students. Throughout my years of
experience in education, I have met few people with the same dedication to the success of
children as Jena displays.
Jena supports all ninth grade special education students both academically and with
progress monitoring. She is responsible for overseeing the academic success of these students in
both history and biology where she provides push in support. In my resource room math class,
Jena acts as a co-teacher where she helps to prepare and teach lessons. Students always respond
well to Jenas teaching style and in a clear, creative way she is able to get even the most
challenging information across to them. Jena also provides academic support to students in two
resource room classes. In these classes Jena is seen assisting students by tutoring, studying and
editing papers daily. She is the students first resource for any of their English and writing needs.
I am constantly impressed with the way Jena is able to manage the many types of classes she is a
part of. She works tirelessly to learn complex curriculum to be able to better assist students and
teachers.
Jena is extremely professional and handles any situation with students and staff with ease
and poise. She can quickly de-escalate an upset student and facilitate meaningful restorative
conversations with staff members and students who are at odds. Jenas daily work has resulted
in remarkable growth in our students academic success. Jena is a beloved member of our staff
and a true team player who will go to any extent to help a student succeed. It is without any
hesitation that I highly recommend Jena for any position for which she may apply.
