Health Promotion Training Session

Initial Assessments of Clients Current Fitness Level: Beginner


Client Session Goal(s):
1. Learn new exercises
2. Develop Coordination/proper lifting form
3. Develop strength and Endurance
Behavioral Objectives of Training Session written by the trainer to direct the clients action and efforts in meeting preset client goals.
Cognitive: The client will observe new movements to develop a plan to do the exercise on their own.
Psychomotor: The client will demonstrate their ability to perform the exercises, and practice the exercises to become proficient on their own.
Affective: The client will perform these exercises on their own to become proficient performing the exercises on their own.
Beginning of Physical Workout
Warm Up phase:

Deadlift: (Strength) Lifting the weight from the ground to ending position with proper form (head up and chest out) using legs to assist in the
movement.
Thruster: Lifting the dumbbells from the starting position to ending position following the proper movement pattern. Not letting the weight get away
from the body and maintaining good stance.

My client was very engaged during the session. The client was very attentive when observing demonstrations and gave good effort
when performing exercises.
2. If I had the opportunity to teach this lesson again to this same group of students/clients, what would I do differently? Why?
If I had the opportunity to teach this lesson again I would explain the movements more extensively and give better ques to help the
client develop more proficiently.
