Depression: a mood disorder that causes a persistent feeling of


sadness and loss of interest. Affects how you feel, think and
behave and can lead to a variety of emotional and physical
problems.
Depression Can be cause by:
Sexual abuse
Bullying
The death of a loved one
Not being accepted by family, friends, or society
Low self-esteem

Depression

1. Untreated depression is the number one cause for


suicide.
2. Depression is present in at least 50 percent of all
suicides.
3. Chronic depression can lead to feelings of hopelessness,
and suicide is one way people choose to express these
feelings
4. They just want their pain and suffering to end.
