Bachelor of Science Degree. Weber State University. Ogden, Utah.
Graduating May 2014. Majoring in Accounting. Majoring in Spanish
Commercial Emphasis.
Areas of Effectiveness
Supervisory - As Assistant Teacher as Ogden-Weber Community Action
Partnership supervised 20 children ages 3 6 in classroom activities.
Organized and supervised multi-cultural activities through the WSU MultiCultural Center. Head of Day of the Dead event. Head of Viva Frida event.
Part of Casasola committee event.
Advising - Advised high school and Weber state students about financial aid,
scholarships available, and programs available to meet their educational
goals.
Communication - Bi-lingual in English and Spanish. Read and write in both
languages fluently. Currently work with low-income, first generation and
ethnically diverse students. I am a first generation college student.
Computer Skills - Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, able to learn any
computer program.
Outdoor Experience - Experienced with outdoor climbing equipment and
its use. Participated in ROPES courses
Volunteer Experience - Guatemala Beneficial Concert volunteer. Assisted
with Ballet students from Mt. Ogden Junior High School. Volunteer for WSU
Multi Cultural Center. Provided a safe place for minority women to socialize
and share cultural concerns. Have served more than 60 community service
volunteer hours.
