To Whom It May Concern;
Is with great pleasure that I am writing this letter of recommendation for Jessica Huskisson,
Miss Huskisson student taught in my 5!" grade classroom during the spring semester of 2015.
Her responsibilities included collaborating and co-teaching with another student in my classroom
during this time.
Miss Huskisson showed a natural ability to set high expectations and develop relationships
during her time in my classroom. She immediately showed confidence that the students would
do what she asked them to do. Her management style showed respect and patience toward the
students, My students knew that she cared about their success and expected them to learn, and
therefore, responded to her with respect and saw her as a teacher.
One of the things that I truly enjoyed about working with Miss Huskisson was her ability to be a
reflective practitioner. She was constantly asking questions about her teaching and listened to
feedback from both her professor and myself with interest and the desire to make changes.
It was a delight to watch Miss Huskisson teach and grow throughout the semester. I had several
students who were often a challenge to engage and keep on track throughout the day. She
showed understanding of the importance to give each child what they need, work with small
groups, and constantly ask deeper thinking questions that allowed my students to respond and
show their level of understanding.
Thave no doubt that Miss Huskisson will be an asset to any school. She has the determination,
passion, and natural ability to problem solve her Way through the challenges of being a first year
teacher. If you have any further questions about Miss Huskisson, please feel free to contact me.
Sincerely,
Alisha Lockhart
