Description
(The subject or focus of the project)

Due Date

Clay, clay tools, paint,

paint brushes.

My sculpture is inspired by the piano, because I have played piano

for a long time. I will be making a grand piano using clay, and I will
use clay tools to sculpt out the fine details such as the piano keys.
The piano with be all black contrasting the piano keys being white.
The piano will be 5cm x 7cm x 6cm. My artwork shows asymmetric
balance of positive and negative space because they are unequal
when split in half.

Sculpture

Clay, clay tools, glaze.

Sculpture

Paper Mache, paint,

balloons.

This sculpture is inspired by ice cream cones because I like eating

them. I will be making it out of clay, it will be about 7cm tall and
having a radius of 3cm. The base will look like a waffle and the top
will be swirly, like a soft serve ice cream cone. I will be using a tan
colored glaze for the waffle part of the cone, then using yellow
glaze to color the vanilla ice cream part. My artwork uses the
waffle pattern as repetition to show texture at the bottom of my
sculpture.
My sculpture is inspired by a panda. I will be making a panda head
approximately 8 inches tall and 25 inches around. The panda with
be mostly white with the eyes and ears black. I will be using black
and white paint to add color to the Paper Mache panda. My artwork
shows symmetrical balance using the colors black and white on
both sides of the sculpture evenly.
