Income qualified First Energy customers may be eligible to receive a grant
up to the amount of their delinquent balance, not to exceed $300.
Applicants must also have made a good faith payment within the past 90 days.
Eligibility is based on household income at or below
200% of the federal poverty level (see income table below).

Persons applying for Ohio Fuel Fund Assistance need to provide the following:
Proof of Identification
Driver’s License or Photo ID or Social Security Card or Birth Certificate
Proof of Household Income
Pay Stubs or Social Security Award Letter or Recent W-2 Forms
or Most Recent Income Tax Filing with IRS (including Schedule C if self-employed)
Proof of Delinquent Electric Bill Balance & Good Faith Payment
Most Recent Bill / Termination Notice / Proof of Payment
Grant Funds will not be applied to PIPP Balance.

Fuel Fund Assistance from any agency
in the last 12 months are not eligible
for Fuel Fund Assistance at this time.
