Sir John A. MacDonald


English Canadian, French Canadian and
Aboriginal Canadian.
He united all provinces and territories
under Confederation on July 1st, 1867,
building of the railroad, and creating a
Federal Police Force known as the
R.C.M.P (Royal Canadian Mounted
Police)
In office from the 1st of July 1867 to
the 5th of November 1873. He then
was reelected the 17th of October
1878 to the 6h of June 1891.

Sir John A. MacDonald became the first national leader in
the world to attempt to grant women to vote in the 1880s
He was also given the nickname Father of Canada

He gave his first speech at the age of six, making him a very
comfortable public speaker.
Sir John A. MacDonald rose up to a leadership
position in every group he joined making him a good
leader

Quebec. (FLQ)

When Trudeau was


elected, he immediately
began fighting for
universal health care.
Also working to reform
governmental caucus
meetings to make them
even more efficient.

Served for nearly 16 years

In 1984, Trudeau resigned from politics. He passed


away on September 28th, 2000, just shy of his 81st
birthday. Trudeau had suffered from Parkinsons
disease, although the official cause of death was
prostate cancer.

Sir John A. MacDonald was definitely
one of the most influential Canadian
of all time. This is because he manage
to unite the English Canadians,
French Canadians, and Aboriginal
Canadians. Canada might not have
even come to be if it wasnt for his
vision to unite this beautiful country.
Trudeau was unable to unite nearly
many people, making MacDonald the
better Canadian.
