Dear Families and Guardians of Grade Five,

Hello, our names are Hawley Massel and Makinna Pitcher and we are the PSI Students from the
University of Lethbridge. We have been student teaching in the Grade 5 classrooms this
semester.
We are writing this letter to you in regards to our professional portfolios.
It is an expectation for our university classes to have pictures of ourselves teaching, structure and
climate in the classroom, and pictures of student work. There is a possibility that your childs
likeness would be included in photographs. We are writing this letter to you to ask for
permission to use pictures on our online portfolio sites if they involve your child. These photos
are strictly professional and used for our teaching portfolios.
