9/11 Tribute

Firefighter Eric Allen died in the World Trade Center on Sept


11, 2001. Eric was a first responder rescue specialist from FDNY
Special Operations Command Squad 18 in the West Village,
Manhattan who died along with seven other of his brother
Firefighters from Squad 18 that day in the stairwells.
Eric owned a large home in Rockaway Park across from
Tribute Park since 1985. He had an apartment in the house, spent
a lot of time here and loved Rockaway and was excitedly looking
forward to living full time in the house when he retired from the
FDNY.

Born January 7, 1957
Resident of Bay Ridge, Brooklyn
Married, father of a three-year old daughter.
Eric Allen died in the World Trade Center on Sept 11, 2001
sacrificing his life to save others, he died with seven other of his
brother firefighters from squad 18 that day in the stairwells. Eric

Allen is a hero because he was an amazing person who sacrificed


his life to save others in the 9/11 World Trade Center attack.
