This letter is to advise you pursuant to the provisions of Section 4-112 of OK Title 26, the Oklahoma
Republican Party will not allow Independents to vote in a Primary Election or Runoff Primary Election of
the party.
The Oklahoma Republican Party feels that only registered Republicans should have the opportunity to
vote for Republican candidates in the partys primary elections. We acknowledge this decision will save
the taxpayers nearly $150,000 in 2016.
