We chose the studio because we can furnish the studio how we want to create the set we want and we can
have more control of the lighting. It might restrict the camera angles we can use but it will help us focus on
mise en scene. It is safer because we are in a more controlled environment and there are fewer variables
such as people that may interrupt shooting.
We are filming the external shots outdoors so that the house will look
realistic as possible and because it is set at night we can use natural
lighting. Its somewhat inconvenient because we have to film it in a
specific time frame but doing so will make us get the best shots.
