Objective
To become a teacher and to work in the special education department for
elementary education
Experience
All of the work described below began when I was in sixth grade and has
continued, on as needed basis. Primarily all of this was as a volunteer, but
was paid occasionally for Childcare/Mothers helper.
Childcare/Mothers helper
Supervised several children (pre-school through elementary); provided light
cooking and housekeeping
Public Works Department - Parks Maintenance, Town of Fishers
Removed invasive plants at Ritchey Woods Nature Preserve;
Trash cleanup, Landscaping, Mulching at Billericay Park
Parks and Recreation Department, Town of Fishers
Supervised children at the arts and crafts station
Served refreshments at programs
Recorded measurements of Punt, Pass, Kick program
Assisted children at Monsoon Madness Program to provide safe entry and
exit from the pool
Fishers Freedom Festival
Collected parking lot information of attendees based on license plat info
Provided directions, answered questions, and enforced parking rules
Trash Cleanup
Volunteering in a classroom
Volunteered for 10 weeks, did certain roles such as grading papers,
household tasks, and watching the students.
