Phi Theta Kappa International Convention

Treasurer’s Report: Dorothy Doyne

Dorothy is attempting to obtain a print out of our reconciliation statement from Ms. Lisa Givens so that we can compare the
Student Government Association’s records of our finances with our club’s records to ensure that our records are correct.
President’s Report: Nicole Schoenstein

Unfinished Business:

The operation Healthy Food Bank project will be held on Wednesday, March 24 in the J Building, Walter Edge Theater, Mays
Landing campus. It will start at 6:00 P.M. and end at approximately 9:00 P.M. Further, Nicole announced that she is still
looking for additional health food/green initiative experts to add to the panel of experts, and that members interested in
volunteering at the event should see her after the meeting or contact her by way of e-mail: president@alphadeltamu.net

The blood drive will be held on Tuesday, March 23 in the Gym at the Mays Landing campus. It will be held from 10:00 AM –
4:00 PM. Appointments are strongly preferred. Nicole urged members in attendance to promote the blood drive. Individuals
can sign up for an appointment by contacting Nicole at 609-204-8625 or president@alphadeltamu.net or

Further, she distributed handouts to the members that they could use to promote the drive.

New Business:

New member orientation was held today. Members watched the Phi Theta Kappa new member orientation video. Carolyn
Coulter talked about Phi Theta Kappa and some of the benefits that are available to members, such as scholarships and
discounts. Nicole then spoke about Atlantic Cape Community College’s Phi Theta Kappa chapter, Alpha Delta Mu. She
showed the members our chapter’s website and talked a little bit about events we have done and upcoming events.
