1. NameThe artist we Studies was Leonardo Da Vinci. We grew up hearing about his creation of
the Mona Lisa and were interested in expanding our knowledge on his other works.
2. How did this person become interested in art?
His father apprenticed him to the fabled workshop of Verocchio. Verocchio's specialty
was perspective, which artists had only recently begun to get the hang of.
3. how did this artist get started?
His Father noticed his talent and found someone for Leonardo to shadow. his
apprentices name was Andrea del Verrocchio who was a noted sculptor and painter
from Florence. He showed Leonardo his techniques and how to use different types of
tools.

Leonardo learned from Piero da Vinci, and a peasant woman, named Caterina.
Leonardo also had a formal education.

Leonardo use oils, wet plaster, paper, pencil, paint, and more to create his creations

Leonardo represented a Renaissance Man, he worked in many fields of art, he was a
gifted mathematician, scientist, musician, architect, anatomist, botanist, and also a skilled
inventor.

In 1482 Leonardo began his first work of art called The Adoration of the Magi, which he never
was able to finish because he was relocated to Milan for work.
