Objectives

After this lesson, students will have described how they illustrated their
characters personality using the magazine cut-outs.

Standards

7.SL.4.1:
Present claims and findings, emphasizing salient points in a focused,
coherent manner with pertinent descriptions, facts, details, and
examples; use appropriate eye contact, adequate volume, and clear
pronunciation.
7.SL.4.2:
Create engaging presentations that include multimedia components and
visual displays to clarify claims and findings and emphasize salient
points.
7.ML.2.2:
Analyze the ways that the media use words and images to attract the
publics attention.

Tell Students that they will be presenting these in an
informal setting tomorrow in class. They will just talk about some of
the pictures you chose and why. They should only take 2-3 mins per
person. Whole Class
Some students with IEPs may need help- talk to them to see.
